The Sex Pistols Recommendations

Formed by media-savvy, Situationist-inspired British con artist Malcolm McClaren, the Sex Pistols were not the best the punk-rock band of the late-1970s punk explosion. But with their brazen mixture of classic guitar riffs, sloppy bass playing, and calculatedly politically incorrect lyrics, they certainly were the most infamous. Although they only recorded one studio album, the Pistols will always be remembered for such charged anthems as "Anarchy in the U.K." and "Pretty Vacant."
