When she begins a love affair with wealthy Weston Liggett, New York call girl Gloria Wandrous thinks she's finally found "Mr. Right." Before meeting Liggett, Gloria had drifted unhappily from one sleazy liaison to the next. Although the two are passionately in love, their relationship is fraught with complications: he's a millionaire only because of his rich wife. And even though Gloria repents and tries to live a decent life, she's plagued with guilt over her past indiscretions. Then, following a venomous quarrel in which Weston destroys her already fragile self-esteem, she runs away as he chases desperately after her.
